Maersk announces improved direct PANZ service for the Oceania-North America West Coast

Maersk has announced an improved direct PANZ service from Oceania to the North American West Coast in order to alleviate congestion and operational difficulties at New Zealand ports. Weekly calls to and from Auckland will be included, as will continuous weekly calls to and from Oakland and Long Beach in California. The rotation of the service will begin on April 27th from the port of Seattle. According to Maersk, the updated service will provide more consistent port coverage in both Oceania and North America. The updated PANZ service will rotate as follows:

Seattle (US)* – Oakland (US) – Long Beach (US) – Auckland (New Zealand) – Sydney (Australia) – Melbourne (Australia) – Tauranga (New Zealand) – Papeete (French Polynesia)* – Surrey (Canada)* – Oakland – Long Beach – Auckland – Sydney – Melbourne – Adelaide (Australia)* – Tauranga – Seattle.

The destinations marked with the symbol * will be called every two weeks.
