Tinna Rubber and Infrastructure will benefit from a tailored block train service launched by APM Terminals, Maersk, and PRCL through DFC

Tinna Rubber and Infrastructure has established a specialized block train service for APM Terminals Pipavav, Maersk, and Pipavav Rail Corporation Ltd (PRCL). The service will run along the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), with Spine Cars that will boost carrying capacity by 7.4%. For the first time, the three entities have worked together to deliver this service. Rail infrastructure will be provided by APM Terminals Pipavav, while Maersk will provide ocean-to-last-mile delivery, including Custom House Brokerage services. The DFC is dedicated to conveying freight at quicker speeds with increased load-carrying capacity, lowering rail freight operating costs in India. APMT Pipavav was India’s first port to connect to the Western DFC.
