Antwerp-Zeebrugge port opens new free truck parking facility with plans for electric chargers

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges opens a new free truck parking facility with 280 parking spaces, as well as fast chargers for electric trucks. With fencing, video monitoring, Wi-Fi, restrooms, and vending machines, the parking area aims to provide convenience and protection for drivers. The investment is approximately $10.8 million, with European support of $2.2 million. Because of the new parking area’s location, vehicles arriving at the terminals too early may have to wait until midday for parking.
