Maersk Introduces New Air Freight Services Connecting the United States and China
Maersk, the shipping company, is launching two new air freight services that will connect the United States and China with regular flights. The services aim to bridge the connectivity gap between the two largest ocean customer markets. The services will be operated by Maersk’s Chicago air freight gateway facility and three newly acquired Boeing 767-300 freighters. The flights will begin with two weekly flights between Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and Shenyang Taoxian International Airport and two weekly flights between Chicago Rockford International Airport and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, increasing to three weekly flights in May 2023.
