Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced a new biweekly container service from Scandinavia to Florida’s Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT), with SSA Atlantic providing stevedoring services at Blount Island. The service will launch in April and will cater to a variety of commodities such as food and beverage, automotive parts, and forest products. JAXPORT, Florida’s largest container port by volume, expects the new service to accelerate its modernization and expansion plans.
